Barrelhouse Brine was formed with foodies in mind, sharing a passion for premium unique pickled experiences. We enthusiastically search for and partner with small family owned farms on Vancouver Island to grow the fresh ‘100mile’ heritage produce found in each hand-packed and numbered jar.
We love making people happy doing what we love to do.
To make a a truly great pickle only takes a few simple ingredients, fresh organically grown produce, fantastic salt, the right vinegar and a little culinary talent.
A ‘Juke Joint’ or private establishment set up on the outskirts of town, — offering local food, libations and live music.
Here at the Barrelhouse we offer Luxury Pickles with Panache. Hand-packed in small batches when in season. Fresh Pickles, Crock-Cured ferments and Briner + Brewer infusions that offer BIG, Bright and Bold flavours.
